Well i got the new blaster to crank.after a day of research i just had to unplug the black n white wire under the hood.learned that from a post back in 2011.soon as it cranked i killed it as i havent leak tested yet,but i know now that it will RUN!!!!!also have to tune the carb as fuel was pouring out the sides of the carb.float height im guessing from what i read n should be set at 21.5mm.also found out i got a 270 main.ill plug chop to comfirm its adeaquate once i get it dialed in.

Always nice when it is an easy fix. After going through all that sh*t with you old blaster I bet it felt good to hear it fire up.

Well after turkey dinner with the fam i got home and set float height at 21mm.it stopped dumpin fuel out the sides but still comin out the bowl drain.i tried starting and come to find out i lost spark again .headlight is still lighting when kicked.the wiring diagrams arnt android friendly as they blur when i zoom any suggestions?
 
For what it is worth the headlight is on a totally different circuit than the ignition.

As to the fuel dump you could have a bit of crap in the needle and seat or the float may be rubbing the bowl.
