been trying to teach my lil sis how to use the blasty. Shes getting there slowly but surely! I:I
the stock one works great! i got some wd40 in there and it pulls so easy! i don't think it can get much easier
Not advisable to use WD40 as a lubricant,it will free up a seized joint, but has little to none lasting lubricating properties.
It will soon dry out and become tacky, put some lubricating oil in there with a puff of graphite powder.
What is a good lubricating oil that won't gum up and become tacky itself? I need to do that for my front brake cable, and I WD40'd it the other day and sure enough, it's already getting sticky.
I like to use sewing machine oil on my cabling, it has low viscosity and in time it will flow all the way down the cable.
I lubricate quite often, at least once a month, more often if I am riding a lot.
LMAO...so much came to mind. 8-|
I can't wait to go to the local hobby shop and ask for sewing machine oil, being relatively young and definitely don't look like I am a seamstress. I will probably get the same look as a guy walking into a quicky mart at 11pm, asking for eye drops while he can't quick blinking one eye. :-[ BTW, if that ever happens to you and the guy hands you condoms, look at the box, slide them back and tell him you need the bigger size...the look you get in return will be classic...of course, if there is a girl working the counter, make sure you change 1 digit when she asks for your phone number.
