Just got a 2005 blaster today after paying it off for 3 months and i was wondering will it hurt anything if i run it threw a car wash in back of my truck? wanted too get my truck wash and the atv can use a wash too but wanted too make sure is it ok?

The car wash is the laser wash ones with no brushing or anything touching the truck.

Thanks:)

i might pass on that, it must use very high pressure jets to clean without brushes ???
it's a known fact to keep very high pressure away from any seals on our bikes, as the water will push thru them and end up inside something it should be in

Ya they pretty much have high pressure this is the car wash im talking about LaserWash TouchFree Carwash and it does say high pressure..

What about the brush ones will they be ok? Or would it be better too take it too one of those do it your self car washs were you park you truck and take a hose that sprays and wash it?

i leave mine in the back of my truck at the self serve ones, but still stand back and not apply direct, close pressure to the seal areas....carrier, front wheels, and engine seals, swinger and a-arm pivots, ect. and it'll take decals right off if applied to the plastics too close

when i do it at home, i use a cleaner from collar general stores called "Awesome"
i get the 1/2 gallon for $3, use it from a bug sprayer, let is do it's job for about 5 minutes, then use my small electric pressure washer, the cleaner helps you not have to get so close with the high pressure

Hmm probably will take it threw the self car washs instead than cause even the brush ones spray pretty hard, So i think it would be safer in the self ones and stand back when i spray it like you said and don't spray the seal areas much.

Would like too do it at home instead but my house don't have a outside hose attachment pretty much would be the safest.

Thanks for the help:)

Oh that awesome cleaner you talking about is it this stuff? Amazon.com: La's Totally Awesome All-purpose Concentrated Cleaner Refills, 32 Oz. 2pk: Home & Kitchen

There's a lot of spots that wound get clean. Like under the fenders. The self service ones are the best.

Yes i lost a couple of decals myself when power washing my blaster, you can always get free stickers tho if u do, i will never go back to hand wahing again, excePt for polishing shiney parts lol

i have always used a car wash place to clean the mud of my polaris. so much nicer to leave a mess of thick mud there than at my parents house and get yelled at.

a laser wash isn't gonna hurt a thing. i doubt they have enough pressure to even knock off decals. as many times as i have used a pressure washer on my quads up close and personal on every sq inch i have never had an issue.

i say let it ride through right on the back of the truck. may not clean the under carriage though.

lol, those laser washes barely have enough pressure to remove a good sized pile of bird sh*t.
