What are the advantages of removing the throttle over ride system?

One less thing to go wrong. If I recall correctly it's suppose to shut the fuel off when it feels like it, like if the throttle gets stuck open. It basically just nerfs your bike. Here's a link to the removal:

Get a problem with the TORS when you are 50 miles from home, and you will wear out your boots walking home!

Get rid of it pronto!

If the TORS system malfunctions , it cuts spark to the plug.

Mine malfunctioned in a light rain. Had to dry out throttle housing 4 times before I made it back. It doesn't kill the spark but it retards it to the point that it barely runs.
