if i lengthin my swing arm 4 inchs should the shock mount stay in the same postion or do you have to move it too and will it hit the stock air box ?

Depends on what your trying to accomplish.

If you are just wanting a better ride and stance , on a +4 swinger , the lower mount is in the stock position , no change to the upper mount . Check out some of the threads in the suspension section , you'll learn everything you want to know , If you like what you see and it helps you out , maybe help out the forum and become a supporting member .
