I was watching a vid the other day of someone rebuilding a blaster and they had aload of spacers and stuff in the swingarm engine bolt .. m(1992 i think) blaster just seems to be a bolt going through.. is this how the older ones are or am i missing something..?

They have shims inside the grease caps.

You must look at the manual which describes what you must do with the shims and how you must measure to see if you need any. I dont know off hand

There are very good directions on how to measure it in the manual. You will need a set of calipers to do this. I just rebuilt mine and it ended up requiring 2 shims to be in specs. The original one had none int it. Depends on all of the tolerances on the parts you are replacing.
