I'm going to give the motor another go and try to sell it. Fresh top and bottom end. It's an '01 and it RIPS. It's easy to lift wheelies in 3rd coming out of corners. It has beat 400EX's, LTZ400's, and many other quads. I need to sell to move up to a four stroke high cc race quad. I will include the pipe and carb since everything is set up to run with this. New Clutch side gears and Clutch kit. It has been ran on VP's U4.2 and Bel Ray MC:1 at 32:1 and stored in a heated garage. Oil has been changed every 10 hours. Here are the mods:
12 Port 240 Cylinder From VITO'S
Fresh Top and Bottom End
+3 VITO'S Stroker Kit
Hinson Basket
New Clutch Kit
Lightened Flywheel
+4 Timing Advance
Fat Bastard Big Bore Pipe
Boyesen Dual Stage Reeds
VITO'S Reed Spacer
Pro Design Boost Intake
VITO'S Oil Injector Elimination Kit
UNI Air Filter
All New Cable Kit From Motion Pro
Stock Carb Jetted To Specs

Well I called all the places I had the work done at and it came to $2925 for all of the work into the quad. So the motor itself, I'd like to see $800 from it.

jw...if u need a larger cc motor...why dont ya just build the blasty motor to the highest it can go..i think somwhere in the 265cc range..not sure tho... cause they will run in the same class as the 450s anyway...at least thats what stroker and tj race i beleive...and we have all seen what a blasty can do on the track when setup right

That 265 setup would not be a good choice for the mx track. For a dragger hell yeah.lol Tj and stroker run 240 cylinders stroked and ported. In all honesty just another person going to the 4 joke!!!!! Just think this $800 would barely cover his topend rebuild on the 4 joke.bahahhahaha

Actually I am getting an LTZ400. I ran even with a TC built TRX450 last Sunday and mine was just piped. I plan on a Athena 440 ported by Duncan with a HMF Super Comp pipe and Ohlins shocks. I know with that set up that I can be just about on top. This Blaster has needs more for MX suspension wise than I want and I don't want a 240 against 450's. I love the two strokes and I will always have a Blaster. Just remember guys, I have 2 Blastys so when I get an LTZ to race I will still always be raging a two stroke on the trails. I also plan on either getting a Tecate 4, TRX250R, or LT250R to race in the 450 class when I get a job. I just need a four stroke to start on and I know what I'm capable of on a 400.

^^ he has a point.

Yeah I have two but thats besides the point. lol But I'm looking towards a 450. Found a built one for cheap so I'm shooting for that. Motor price lowered to $750 obo.

let me see some pics, i got a fair price in mind, i would like to see pics of the porting and the bottom end. kinda hard to fork out a bunch of money without seeing it first. thanks

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the port job. But as for the bottom end, I don't have any pictures of it in peices. I'm not the kind of person who takes a bunch of pictures. When I get into a motor it is solely to get it running again. But as for the price, PM me what you think is reasonable with the pipe and carb included.

really not trying to be a dick but how do u plant to sell a motor for 750 without pics to prove what u have, i mean thats a lot of dough to dish out bro. im not saying it isnt whay u say it is but its going to be hard to sell without photos. just my opinion. id be sketchy to give u 500 without proof of what it is.

Yeah I understand and I should have taken pictures but the motors together now and thats how it's staying. I have pics of the clutch side down to the bare case but thats it.
