close but the rupra ran 8.45 when marko owned it and that skyline ran 8.8
and the skyline is gutted and awd.. markos supra was full interior 100% street legal with air conditioning, and he drove it to and from the track most of the time!!

there are a good many 1000+ hp I6 ricers out there.. both street and track cars.. they are nasty street cars compared to anything on the road. 99% of the time. i used to be big into the imports..still have my s13 240sx hatch that will get finished one day. i have love for all, (cool) cars though..that skyline is sweet.. one of my favs for sure!

I'll give that supra credit but the fast supras aren't very consistent and around here it's still the old school V8 detroit iron that dominate the streets.. A few years ago when NOPI still existed my buddy ran his mustang in a class with supras. He won the class 3 straight events in a row , dominating those supras.
this was in 2008 and his car runs 7.90s now with only a supercharged small block

sweet stang.. i used to go the nopi events.i didnt know they stopped having them.. and yeah 1000hp imports are more of a rare breed..
i enetred the burnout contest one year at VA in my 240sx..its on a vid that was on tv somewhere..i shoulda won but the winner had chicks modeling with him so he edged me out..haha

GIS2 was the 1st one I saw and I watched the rest. GIS2 still is kind of my favorite.....I'm no fan of turbos or forced induction, but BOVs are sexy. :-[I'll stick with my naturally aspirated sexiness though. B)
