I have raced a blaster before in 100+ heat, with a built motor. ran 110 octane Trick fuel. if its jetted right and you are moving with airflowing around the motor, you should be good. If its a little on the rich side, with good octane and oil it will be fine. If a motor get too hot it will loose power, knock, ping etc.. but remember the piston temp is around 1050-1100 degrees if your a little rich. ambient temp. change of 20 degrees between 80 and 100 isnt that big of a deal as long as you set it up for it.
