stupid mistake

well i went riding friday and the end result is in my sig
i went through mud and a river
well bright idea me decided to do a +4 mod Thursday but ended up not But left some of the screws loose on my stator cover but i did tighten the two on the bottom and the one that holds down the stator wires but anyway i didn't think nothing of it until tonight when i walked past my blasty
well i loosed the 3 screws and then about a 1/4 c of water came out i checked it out the best that i could at night with a light and didn't see any rust r anything i couldn't fire it up cuz its like 10:30 when i checked
so all in all i made a noob mistake and maybe have gotten lucky hopefully

As long as it drys out it should be fine, I have seen some butt ugly rusted to hell and crusty stators make spark. If your worried you can pull it off and use a electronics spray cleaner or if you don't have any available good old carb cleaner works good too.

Also you can use an air compressor and blow gun, blow it out.
Letting it just air dry is inviting rust.
It might work rusty but it will work better clean I:I

take some WD-40 and spray some of that in there and do what one guy said and take an air compressor and blow it out.
