I'm thinking I need to do put in a new piston next spring, but I'm just curious what the stock bore is on a Blaster and how do you go about determining if you need have your cylinder bored or not? I know you'll have to measure the cylinder but what tolerances determine what piston size you'll need?

std bore is 66mm .. of you have a wiseco piston you can get the number off the top and it will tell ya what size it is ..
the obvious sign of wether you need to bore or not would be grooves in the cylinder. What i do with mine is that i take it to the guy that built my motor and he measures the dia of the cylinder at the top, middle and bottom to make sure that the cylinder is true or perfectly round. sometimes you can have a cylinder thats oblonged which you won't be able to see.
