Having trouble starting my quad lately. Ever since its been rebuild i struggle starting it, takes a good 5 kicks to start. Where is best to start looking, chamge of plug? Mixture not enough? It idles rwally well so cant be that bein too low.

Thanks

Hmmmmm...mine may take 5 kicks after sitting for length. Is this after it's already been warmed up? Cold start? Mine varies from time to time. I usually pull choke, then slowly compress the kicker once or twice. Then give it 1-2 hard kicks and it's running. Seems pretty normal for me.

Air Filter nice and clean? Is plug good? sounds a little like a air leak.

I'm in the midwest and its been pretty cool lately. My 2 are around 1 to 2 kicks, with choke out if its been cold. Ditto on the 1 or 2 light compression kicks.

Did you loctite the screws? And it is also recommended to use the stock reed stoppers, not the small bar that comes with them
