Hey guys,

Well Im in the process of doing the rebuild, I noticed a little ball had fallen out from somewhere and I don't know where it goes or where it came from?

Also, So far the rebuild is going fine and I can't believe how easy it is to do, I've got the case split, all cleaned out, ready to go back together, I didn't even have to remove the clutch to get the crank out.

Anybody got any tips, common mistakes, anything that could help that you noticed when doing a rebuild?

the ball welds itself to the end of the rod from coaqsting at high speed with the clutch pulled in for extended periods. This happens alot at the local dunes when riders climb a huge mountain and coast back down with the clutch pulled in. I have a collection of those little balls welded to rods from motors we have rebuilt

yeah its in between the 2 push rods in the center of the clutch. what ive never goten is why is it needed? it could just be 2 rods or 1 rod for that matter. couldnt it?

banshees do it to except the whole pushrod and the part that goes vertically through the case welds itself together, it happened to my roomate we had to break the whole assembly to get it to come out
