I plan on replacing my stock axle with a banshee axle to gain width. While searching ebay I found this:

06 Yamaha Banshee 350 2" Oversize Axle 2006 YFZ350 New | eBay

It is 2" wider than the stock banshee axle but I am wondering if anyone here has ran it or knows someone that has and can tell me if its legit or complete crap. I am on the fence on it but leaning towards it's probably crap because its so cheap and my momma told me that if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. :D

forward powersports is a reputable seller, but....
you do know you also need the banshee brake hub/disc for this to work on pre 03 blasters ???

with that added cost, and that above axle @ $129 + 15 shipping ?

instead...........
i'd go with the tusk (formerly g-force) chromoly axle and
gain 4 5/8" to 6 5/8" width over the stock blaster axle
from rockymountainatv.com for $199 + free shipping
no extra banshee parts needed, and lifetime guarentee

Bad@ss!!! I bought up Prime's brake setup so the Tusk axle will be the best bet too cause I won't have to shim the caliper!! Thanks Awk, +rep for you as usual.

those axles come with clips and bushings/spacers that allow them to be used on 88-02 and 03+ models by positioning the bushings differently
as most aftermarket axles do

Heres my old 04 with a banshee 2+2 durablue eliminator

ah so you are the guy that snagged it right before me. lol oh well enjoy

Yes I am. I knew I needed to snag those up as quick as I could. Must have been my intuition. And enjoy I will ;). Whoever owned my 465 blaster before me was nuts. No back brakes and fronts that barely worked. Can't wait to get them on there!!
