still no..

theres nothing in the manual about it. i dont wanna buy wnother one if i done need it ha

There's no known way to test the cdi. Try to find someone that will let you borrow a known good one. This assumes you have performed ALL test procedures on ALL wires, switches, stator, picup coil, ignition coil.

i have power to the coil wire but no spark the voltage is real weak. its not strong enought to spark. idk what up

u have a few diff possibilities, the flywheel key might be broken, but start small and switch out the cdi, plug boot, u can buy them on ebay.
if its not that then go to the stator.

ive tested everything thats what i dont get!? stators good, coils good, plug boot is good, i have no idea. i put a voltage meter on the spark plug and another on a ground and its only pushing out 2.8 volts. thats way to low. i have no idea whats up with it

tried that i took the boot off and put the meter up the wire and still only pushing out two or three volts

i tore it down to put new crank seals in. and i cleaned all the grounds with a wire brush, so thats not it. and no i dont have anyone to swap with

only other thing besides the cdi would be to recheck all the grounds you messed with to be sure nothing happened to them. i know its a long shot but without swapping the cdi it doesnt seem like there is much else to try... let us know what you find.

i only have one ground hooked up its under the coil wich connects to the black wire coming out of the stator right?

Have you trimmed 1/4 inch off plug wire so you have clean/fresh non corroded wire for plug boot? Don't remember if wire comes out of coil, if it does do same to other end, use di-electric grease to prevent corrosion. Have you ohmed the coil? Would seem if you're getting something out of coil cdi should be good.

i just had a bad cdi and still had a spark
