i recently removed the stock steering stem b/c of some play in the bars. at the end of the stem were the nut would go, it looked as if there was supposed to be a bushing. there were two o rings in the bracket tube job that the stem rests in; those got replaced but there is still quite a bit of play.

that being said, does anyone know where i can get the bushing or what will work just as well. i was thinking about using a nylon spacer as a last resort if i cant find the correct fix.

are the bolt that hold the stem against the frame by the handlebars tight?
and there is a bearings at the base of the stem.

yeah everything is tight. that was my first thought that the nut on the end was loose. where can i find that bearing?
