steering stem question??

i wasnt sure what category to put this in. My steering stem has play in it. I can see that the play is in the bearings that go around the stem up near the gas tank. what parts do i need to fix this. Here is the diagram im pretty sure its numbers 6 and do i need any of the others like 8 or 11?

get parts 6,7<(2 of them) and 8
just replace it all, as the rubber o-rings wear out, the plastic pieces start to also and just the o-rings won't fix it

I know i need the o rings because one of them is missing, what exactly does part 8 do?

edit....my bad, not part 8 < 6 looks like 8 on that pic

you need 2 #6's and 2#7's
