Steering Damper

i have a denton, 7 way adjustable, i got used/like new locally for $50, but was looking at the one from snydermotorsports.net, looks similar, and reasonably priced, $127, i think.
check out their site, and it's on ebay too

i'd say they're fairly tough,
if you plan on having that bike for the rest of your life, then get a rebuildable one??

A rebuildable one is the way to go.I have the same as awk a denton 7 way adjustable and a non adjustable pep.The pep is basically garbage cause it can't be rebuilt. The adjustability part is a very good feature also.Just move it a click and it makes a big difference,go all the way to 7 and you will barely be able to turn your bars.

when ur going at i hagh speed, u set it stiffer to make it so the bars don't jerk from your hand, or set it just a little firmer to steady the bars for mx or trails

I'd get a rebuildable. I tore mine apart because the bolts on the stem got loose, and i actually wrapped the damper around the steering stem. busted out the seals and sh*t and bent the hell out of the damper. I straightened it since, but haven't had a chance to rebuild it yet.
