Hey Guys

I cant get my quad started after i cleaned the carb. It seems to get fuel cause it comes out the overflow. All the vitals are good. I have fuel, tap open, i have spark etc.. I actually dont know what to check anymore! I need a new fuel tap as it doesnt shut off the fuel completely, plus the fuel came out at the exhaust flange.. thats not good!!! And the spark plug is dry as well. Please help

Sounds like your floats are hanging up or the needle seat isn't shutting the flow of fuel complete off.

Time to get back into that carb and investigate what the culprit is. There is a few write up on here on how to set float height, and how to clean the needle seat out with q-tips and toothpaste. Sounds strange, but the toothpaste and q-tips really works good.

A new fuel petcock might be a good idea too. They are for sale all over eBay.

Thanks man.. I fixed up the petcock valve. The carb is clean. The bike starts up but doesnt ref up.. If i give it throttle the refs drop.. like the engine smothers. It could be the tang adjustment
