ok well so, my brother went atving with my blaster at his friends house and it was working perfectly, then he was skateboarding and got passed out when he hit his head going like 30 mph down a hill with loose trucks, so then he left it there for about a month, now when i get it back it won't start so i changed the sparkplug, checked the carb and cable and everything was right. Fuel came out of the lines just fine. When i hooked the fuel line to the carb and gave it gass while it was facing a oil bowl no gass came out, but not sure if it is suppose to when i am holding it with my hand. I hurt my leg badly doing sh*t on my bike so i havn't really been able to do much then that. My brothers friend who is good with atv's cars e.c.t cleaned the air filter, drained some of the bad gas, and it started.. idled and then he road it and about 5 seconds it just stalled. any one know ideas on what to do to fix it, it seems like the engine is not getting enough fuel, i am thinking i need to clean the carb with carbe spray and clean the jets as well. Any idea's guys

i took the carb off but im guessing my brothers friend cleaned the jets since the bowl screws are on itght and i don't want to strip it, but i noticed that the reeds make like a blerping noise when u push it forward, only 1 fin does that, so im thinking that might be the case

1 more question, if i connect the fuel line to the carb and turn the gas flow on, where should gas come out of when i give it throttle or if the slider isn't even in it?

it might be the reeds or clean carb out and jets and ive got a question for the other guy ok when i get on my blasty and ride it till is good and warmed up after a while it will bog down in 1st and 2nd until i hammer the gas and it fine after 2nd could that be my jets ??

i couldnt get the reeds out because i didn't have a 10mm socket, so i got the carb and blew as hard as i could into were the gas line connects on the carb and no air was escaping at all,so basicly the engine is not getting gas only oil, is it suppose to be blocked up like that, im guessing dirt or a pebble some how got deep inside there.

Dies any know if that fuel valve is supose to block everything while it is not installed in the atv?

ur running the oil pump? but id say the jet is plugged or ur valve on the tank is plugged! have you tried using SeaFoam?

i just tossed some carb cleaner threw the jet and it went right down and drained from the bottom tube, just wont go down the fuel line valve

ok i got the carb bowl off and cleaned the jets but if i push air into the fuel valve it is blocked, is it supose ot be like that?

i think you've found your problem. float valve is dead. this fits the symptoms you described....
you might be able to fix it for a bandaid so you can ride, but you'll need to replace it eventually.

problem fixed i moved the floats up and down no air flow went through then i jammed the floats down and it worked and it worked
