starter issue

Blaster was running shut it off, was kicking down again and all the sudden it locked up, what could have went wrong?

wither you seized it up or the kickstarter gear is broke

Take the clutch cover off and inspect kicker gear. There is a white collar that slides over the shaft. There is a slot that has to line up. The grab the spring with a pair of channel locks and put it in the hole. If that's not the problem take your stator cover off. Pull the flywheel and make sure the screws didn't back the self out. This has happened to me and it will cause the motor to lock up.

I'm thinking it's the kickstarter though. Even on a locked up motor the kickstarter should spring back. Post results so others can learn.
