starter clutch

hey new to the forum. got a quick ? my kick starter got locked into the up position so i took the side cover out to check it out and the spring the returns the kick start back to place was resting on the gear . where does the spring actually sit any help would be cool. i looked at diagrams but they only show where the springs goes not where its rests at. a pic would be awesome thanks. -rock and roll

the spring goes into the hole on the top right.. i wish i had a pic for ya..

Hers a pic for you.Hope this helps.Once you get the spring in the hole you need to get it to stay as you try and put the cover on.Good luck.

it did but as soon as i tryed to kick it over the spring popped out of place. it seems to not be broken im not sure. how much do u have to wind the spring i only did it about half way is that the problem?

there is two notches on the kicker gear. you have to make sure it goes in the right way..

thanks everyone , turns out i blew it up. i took it to my shop mad brothers racing bad ass dudes. he told me it was f*cked up. its for sale 300$
