We bought a frame for $50 and a complete blaster for $800, we will be using the complete old chassis to practice our pitting. We will be pulling the motor from the complete blaster for a 240 CT Racing big bore kit (complete carb and all) and placing it in the upped frame. The frame will be gusseted and powder coated purple. I will submit photos when we pick up the machine and frame! So far $850.00

welcome to BF !
tuned in for the build

It looks like we will be using a lot of parts from American Star on the build and also Elka Suspension all the way around. I see a lot of their kits on this forum. Anyone have some opinions in their stuff?

ASR +3+1 a-arms and Elka stage 3's front and rear.
lets just say my bike has been refered to as the cadillac in the roughest stuff known to mankind I:I
you will be very pleased with that combo

i slowly graduated from stock, to banshee up front,
and 400ex and 450r in the rear.
then works steelers fronts and an ultracross rear,
the elka's are in a complete different league.

i've yet to need ASR's customer service, but Elka's is top notch.
my rear needed an adjustment knob, i called the service center in WV. around 1pm. the knob was on my porch the next day in PA.
