i did this mod when i put a clutch in my blaster last week. i didnt cut off as much as i could have, but just by rounding out the hard angles it is noticeably easier to shift. i can only imagine if i were to take off as much as i could have

you can see here where i cut the point down from 2-3, and started on the one from 3-4. i didnt cut much but you can see a difference. i did smooth it out more than this before i put it back in

I'm doin it I am going to do a full rebuild in a few weeks and that would be a great improvement

mine prolly already looks like that, haha. I think mine is pretty easy to shift as it is, except when I'm in the sand it seems like its under load the entire time and is hard to shift, and it has a tendnecy to slip out of gear.
