sproket question

anyway i chewed my front sproket to a circle.......so if i go from a stock 13 t sproket to a 12t ....how much top end will i lose?
and will i have a ton more power?

14/40 works good but if you want more bottom end and not alot of top speed 12 or 13 will work

i think a 12t would be good if you have some 21-22''+ tires but the gears are going to be REALLY short, you may want to just stay with the stocker 13t. you can always resell sprockets on here or ebay

yea bro u should be able to take off in second gear........u will have a super short first gear with a 12 on the front

thanks for the imput fellas.......we'll see how it goes....i dont do much super top end riding, mostly trails and pit ridin ........im thinkin that i should get a new rear sproket as well.....with the 12 up front should i up the rear to even back out?

or just stick with the 13.....a 13 is still geared way to low IMO

that would be down the rear to even back out
1 tooth in the front is like changing the rear 3 teeth

for example a 14/50 would be similar to a 13/47 and a 12/44
in other words dropping to a 12 would be like getting a rear sproket with 3 more teeth
