sprocket size

While I am rebuilding my motor I am going to put new sprockets on it. I am going to put a weisco piston kit .040 over, I have a Mekuni flat slide carb., I am looking for speed through 4th gear. Any sugestions. Buying renthal sprockets from rockymountain.

i know a lot of people run 14 tooth up front and keep the 40 in the back
u still have the low end but now u have top end also
