Hi every one , x-cuse me for sounding a bit dumb, but what is the benifits for changing the gearing from 13/40 stock to 14/38?
You go up one in the front which give you more top-end but go down in the back Why?
Doesnt that cancel the front sprocket out to almost stock?

Thanks dude.
I'm riding alot of trails and as you can seen do alot of step climbing on loose rocks. I'm thinking of going down to a 12 in the front to get more low down power, topend is not really helping on rocky hills. Should I?

you can go down in the front.. it all depends on your type of ridding.. i try to keep up with faster bike's so i have to be geared the way i am.. if you want more low end go to a 12 tooth front..
