Sprocket ideas?

i like 14-40 with 20" rear tires. seems to work well. if im in tight technical trails i like the 13-40
Unfortunatly power and speed do not share the same bed.

If you are toying with changing sprockets, it is a must to use a complete set of sprockets and a new chain.
New sprockets and old chains do not marrt.

For MX my lad runs 18" rubber and 2 sprocket and chain combos, depending on the speed of the track.

holy crap! with a banshee???? i was running out of gears with 18" 13/40 im going to 14/38 or so. depends how it goes now.
if ur racing, 13.40 with 20's should be ok for both. but 20's arent the best on a track. idealy 18's with 13/40 or 14/40 is good, but dosent offer much ground clearence in trails. and ur not gonna beat 400's with a stock blaster.
and stock suspension. trust me i know I:I i was kepping up with 450's at practice, but i was hauling ass while they werent.
It really depends on the track that you're racing at. I run 13/38 with 18's. I was running 14/38 but it felt like one gear was too low and the next gear was too high so I switched to the 13 front and it felt alot better, rpm wise
