hey all just wondering how can i spray the springs on the fron shocks? and do banshee shocks make that much difference ?thanks!

yes but you have to have a way to compress the spring to remove the retaining clip. And some say they do, some say they aren't worth it. I was gonna get a set, but have kinda changed my mind as I don't know how much improvement they would actualy make, so I couldn't justify it for me.

Yes they area great improvment... mine feel almost like works and for 41 bucks shipped off ebay i really cant complain man, i say go for the banshee shocks I:I

Well if you want, do it the ghetto way and sand the springs down, tape some paper and taper and make some what of an O shape to rap around the shocks its self and not the coil. Then just spray away. Do it the right way however and REMOVE the spring using a spring compressor of some sort and pull out the C clip. Get them sandblasted and either paint them or PC them. I recommend PC but if you dont have the sources to do that, mix up some paint with flex agents and spray it. Another alternative would be using Krylon Fusion but eventually, it will just chip.

The problem with using a spring compressor on shock springs you just painted or PC'd is that you have a tendancy to scratch the spring unless you tape off the area the compressor touches the spring itself... Its touchy, but it can easily be done with a little care and patience.

Banshee Front shocks are a HUGE improvement over the stock ones,as is the EX 400 rear.My total cost for a good set of banshee fronts and a rebuilt EX 400 rear is about $100.
