splitting a case how to?

I work on my cousins blasters. One of there engines is sitting my my garage. As soon as they decide they want to buy a bottom end seal kit ill be doing a how to vid on it. The banshee bottom end vid should be done this week. The banshee and blaster are pretty much exactly the same only the blaster engine splits side to side and not top to bottom. You will need a clutch and flywheel puller as well as a case separator to do the job.

Check out the link in my signature to see some of the other vids ive done. Ill try really hard to convince them to buy the bottom end seal kit this week.

I just subscribed to your YouTube page, you have some awesome video's! Where are you at in MI? I just moved back here from TN and we are in the process of buying a house in Rochester Hills but I am currently staying in Ypsi until that hopefully goes through.

Oh and your Banshee is wicked!

There is a simple way to split the cases. Once you have everything out of the right side case, and every bolt out that goes through both cases, lay the bottom end on the left side case and take a rubber mallet to the large hump on the back of the right case and hit upwards. It should come free, with all the internals still in the left side case. Those come out pretty easy, the only difficult thing to remove is the crankshaft. You will need a harmonic balancer puller to do this.
