if you are throwing away plugs it stands to reason you know what the symptoms are. however, the cause is primarily too rich jetting. you need to lean out

yeah thats what i mean, sorry i worded it wrong. could it also be fouled if i keep it in low rpms? because i tend to do that as i ride on the road to get to the trails around here to keep the noise down

ye it can get fouled a lot quicker if you never burn off some of that excess fuel... i like to keep revving the engine if im going slow just to prevent that, plus they're loud going slow anywaysI:I but like the above posts say, check what the recommended jetting is for your setup and the envrionment you ride in... by the way i would always rather spend money on plugs ($1.99) than a whole new top end, so being a little rich doesn't sound so bad to me

You shouldnt foul plugs even at low RPMs if youre jetted properly. I have ripped, putted, idled, everything since getting my jetting set, and I havent touched my spark plug for over a year. Prior to that, I was fouling plugs every ride easily.
