Spark plug prob?

My quad would not turn over for a few days so I decided to take it apart and clean the filter and spark plug and changed the oil in it. Now when I try to kick start it it makes a loud popping noise in the area of where the spark plug is. Does that mean that the spark plug is blown and need to be replaced? Any help is welcome! Thanks in advanced!

No. It tries to but after maybe 10 kicks it makes the loud pop. It smells like gunpowder after the pop.

is your pipe clear of debris like mouse nests and stu?

Yes. If it helps at all I will go clean it again. I smelled the gunpowder around that area.

Try another plug and make sure it's tight without stripping the threads.

It sounds like you flooded your motor and the fuel is being pushed into the pipe and igniting in the pipe.
