I have a 01 blaster and I got spark coming out my orange coil wire give me a good strong shock when I hold it and kick it over but I lose it when I bolt down the coil any ideals ?
Bad ground on the frame somewhere, or bad coil. The coil supply wire won't have near as strong of voltage as the plug wire itself, as that is the purpose of the coil, to multiply the voltage. The ground for the coil is where it bolts to the frame, so it needs to be clean

Is it grounded good when bolted down? Meaning, is it grounded to bare metal? Try scraping/sanding paint off of grounding point. If your holding it and shocking the crap out of you your grounding the plug.
