yeah you guys know it and as the colors are perfect was thinking of a change since it wont be a mx or harescramble quad its a flattrack quad now anyways was thinkin about having my frame chromed or nickeled (nickle does look better). and was looking for advice or ppl with post some pix thanks for you time.

never seen a chrome atv frame before, wonder if there's a reason for that ????

but would look awesome of you do

and don't go gettin a complex about owning that quad, we're all happy it's in good hands now instead of owned by a complete douchebag < and please do repeat that if ya ever run into him again, tell 'em AWK SAID SO

I heard its not possible becuase they need to polish before they chrome. but idk where you couldnt polish on a frame? wouldnt that make it heavy as sh*t tho?

That is a nice looking blaster! I like the yellow! I think chrome would be realy cool as well then you would have to polish the cases and head to match!

Chrome is only thouzandths of an inch thick so after after the sanding and polishing id bet the frame weighs less.

Wow thanks for the feed back knew I joined a awesome site I'm in the works of finding a local chromer the way I see it is if you can Chrome a chopper frame you can a wheeler and if no one has done it I encourage every one who has thought it to go outside the box

not to thread jack but, where did you get your frame guards??

on the chroming note, they make chrome powdercoat that looks like actual chrome, but is a more durable finish. that i believe any PC shop could do for less than a chrome job.

Considering it being a flattrack quad i think Chrome would be great. Trail riding, I could see it being a waste of money, however if i had the cha-ching to spend i'd do it!

The PC chrome things sounds cool too!

from my experience with chrome its stronger than paint it will get strached up but wont go throught to bare metal. And you can still polish it up.

I've chrome PC'ed a bunch of things. From my experience it has serious issues with keeping 'the chrome look'.
In a few months you'll have dull silver PC.
