hey guys, my name is Rhodney, and I'm from Georgia USA. My Wife and I are currently in the process of moving to the Dominican Republic. ATVS/ Motorcycles are the main mode of transportation there and I have my heart set on a blaster. I have already contacted a friend and they one they will sell me when go back later. I want to modify the stock suspension to be slightly lower and wider both in the front and the back. Can anybody point me to some kits that I could use???? I'd like to be as well educated ab it so I can do as much of the work as I can myself when I get back over there later this spring. thanks in advance!

How much Cash are you willing to spend?

Theres some that you could spend $100 to get what you want, or 500

Welcome to the forum I:I
Always post pictures, its the unsaid rules :p how-to in my sig below

No, no jumping at all, this is a means for light travel ONLY once we get there so thats not going to be an issue.

Will getting a longer swing arm and long travel A-arms help with stability...top speed in this country is mostly 45 mph...just wordering..thanks guys

Get the longer a-arms, many brands, but i have ASR, and by-far (not just my opinion) they are the best, and have great customer service.

The longer swinger will probably not be needed, that doesnt help a lot with stability, but to keep you from flipping over if you have motor mods.

Also, it is best if the outside of your tires match in the width, I.E. 3" extended on front, probably want spacers on the back. I suggest a banshee axle for your cheapest option.

Lastly, shocks. If you dont want a sore back, get new shocks... A 400ex/450r shock can be found at $30-75 and its a decent upgrade. Works shocks on the front will probably be your best bet, elkas are spendy, and others arnt that great.

Hey guys, I have finally made it to the Dominican Republic and have gotten settled. So my wife and I have found a few blasters in a town nearby and are looking to pick one up within the next 3 weeks. I have another question though, how long can a blaster ride in 95 degree + heat b4 needing to stop and let it cool? Crazy question, I know....thanks in advance!

Provided that it is jetted correctly for the temperatures there should be no reason to have to stop to let it cool down .

Read up on jetting until you fully understand what it means. I would play it safe and try to be a tad on the rich side. Does the altitude change there much where you will be
Riding? Also try and use the best oil you can afford. As said above if you are jetted correctly you wouldn't need to stop and let it cool but again you will need to be jetted correctly and or a tad rich.
