I got my 450R shock in the mail today and decided just to hook it up and hold it in place while I wait for Ken's bushings to come in. The hardest part of this entire install?.......the f*cking little cotter pin that holds the bottom stock pin in place. X( I'm ready just to cut the SOB out now. Everytime I work with those things they are an absolute pain the arse to get out. I tried pulling it out with some needle nose and it wouldn't come out, then I tried some channel locks and they slipped off the pin and my damn finger caught something on the quad and it just cut the SOB clean open and is bleeding all over hell since I took my daily aspirin. Damn you little pins!!!! X(

i hear ya. and its not a funny issue but the way u said it just made me laugh my ass off lol

why wouldnt you just cut it at each side of the pin, then tap it out of the hole after you get the pin out, re-using .15 cent cotter pins is always a big no-no
