no it wont hurt anything, ... its the same idea as a 4 stroke muffler just smaller outlet, but the inlet is the same size as my stock exhaust, and actually the outlet is the same size as the outlest that was on my stocker.. just minus all the sprial baffles and cones that are in the stock one to meet noise emmisions
