snowmobile engine in a quad?

A cvt setup off a snomo and a jack shaft. It takes alot of money to put a snomo engine in a quad. Sprockets alone are $250 a piece usually.

Did one on a go cart years ago.. Really didn't work well all it did was pop wheelies and couldn't steer for crap.. Also did a small kitty cat motor on a mini bike.. That came out good, Lil 2 stroke mini bike the kids loved it..

You probably want a older 2 stroke engine??? They are more work then they are worth if you want to put one in a quad. I have one in a older argo 6 wheeler that is a dual cylinder 400 and it screams for what it is. We also have a 2008 yamaha apex gt with a turbo off a r1. Not sure if any people on this site are into sleds or not?

I was watching that show sons of guns and they converted a snowmobile to run on road and it had major overheating problems, of you could overcome that it would be sweet.

Can you say major head ache? Don't know if there's enough room.

LOL, my sprockets were cheap. Custom Ty shaft wasn't
I used the sno-mo chain case so I didn't have a giant rear sprocket.
This was for a motorcycle that we made the frame, so it was made to fit all the BS.
