Skat~Trak Desert Storm Sand Tires

Who has them, and how do you like them?

gonna bring a thread back from the dead, there is the desert storm and the terrain trak, they both look good, i was wondering of they'd do good in normal mud/snow/trail usage, and the accosional asphalt, but very little asphalt, heres the pics of em

couldn't find a good terrian trak photo, but its the same thing, i was also thinking about getting mudlite sp tires when i get new ones

in all reality you dont want tires that will dig for snow,
sand padale work if there run backwards, other wise maxxis 4snows are the way to go

well, i also wanna run this year round on pretty much all terrains, from mud to sand and all inbetween

sand tires are not your best bet for year round,

year round look into kenda vipers, or some of the gncc style tires,

i want a aggressive tire, like maybe kenda kutter xc's, holeshot hd's or mudlite sp's, i really like the sp's.

Never did try out the desert storms, would really like to though.

i see that, u run them on mud and stuff, i'm mostly lookin for big tread, lightweight, and durable, won;t wear to nothing on hard surface contact, i heard that the lugs are very hard adn don't wear

i was readin up on the tire and they said it is desighned for sand along with hard surface applications, i think i'm gonna get them and try em, if they fail... they fail

i love my scat tracks but mine have yet to leave sand

ok, i'm gonna get them and see how they do, my choice now is, do i want the .55" tread desert storms, or the .71" terrain trak tires, they are both the same, just bigger tread on the terrain trak, i ride on some soft, hard to get thru stuff
