Can anyone tell me if Trinity make a single silencer for a 2000 yamaha blaster to fir stock expansion pipe? I dont want to have to buy a new expansion pipe quite yet.

i dont think they do but you wouldnt get much of a power gain or sound improvement... your better off gettin both pipes the header and silencer!!! hope that helps!!

I would remove the oil-injection, run 32:1 with a good oil like Klotz, gut the stock silencer, put in a 270 main jet, move the clip one position richer, and depending on your riding conditions either remove your airbox lid or buy/modify it like an EHS lid (link below). This will make the Blaster better running and it will rev better. The 270 is still a little rich (for stock airbox) but runs great. My friends daughters Blaster is a 2003 and has had these mods (only she runs a stock airbox with a K&N w/outerwear) since new and she has well over 300 hours on the stock piston and rings (engine has never been apart) and shows good compression. She rides at the Oregon Dunes and spends most of her time in the mid to upper midrange. All of this will take a little time but little money and you will have a better running Blaster. I have ridden it and compared to my stock Blaster it was more fun to ride as it ran really well. I:I

I already have its on 32:1 on Bel-Ray H1R racing oil. I dont want a k&n filter, i want a UNI cause foam is better than paper. Right now its in the shop and it was already bored .20 over but now its gonna be .25 over. Whats the difference between the stock airbox cover and the HP airbox lid?

I have an FMF Powerrcore2 already with stock expansion pipe. Anything else?

Just save for a pipe. The silencer makes little to no difference. The Power Core 2 has no spark arrestor where the Turbine Core 2 does.

You do not need a "jet kit" All you need is new jets. A "jet kit" is something some smart person came up with to charge someone for 5 new main jets in different sizes and some stickers on one bag.

If you do not have that much money start with a FMF pipe and then save for a better one.
