silencer???

i was wanderin if i had to have the endcap on my procicuit 304 sound silencer i was drag racing aginst a 350 raptor thursday night at the local fair an the damn thing blew off half track cant find it anywhere but i jus want to know if will hurt the motor runnin without it.
o an i barley lost aginst the raptor all i got is a silencer supposibly boysen reeds an .30 over weisco piston i was told when i got it but before that i beat a 400 scrambler hell yea but please any info can be helpful.

No.

I rode home a good 2-3 miles with no exhaust on and it was fine,slow but it was fine. Just run the silencer and headpipe and your good.

ya u do there is no baffle in there its just an empty core RIGHT

ya but its different with a stock sett upp cause the stock hearer is basicaly a muffler and ilif ur running a am pipe them its like runnin it open piped ya it will run and be loud but it wont last very long

You don't have to run the endcap or even a silencer on your pipe. It won't blow up but it also won't run as good. I had my silencer fall off once during a race and I was running the quad as hard as I could for about 20 min and it didn't hurt anything.
