sense my piston siezed a couple days ago does this mean i have to bore it out? my friend told me i just need a new top end.... any ideas what i should do to get the blasty running again

chances are that if you seized it your going to need to bore it. Take the cylinder off and inspect it. Any gouges or deep scrapes or if the cylinder is out of round is going to require a bore job
there are 2 small stress lines on the exhuast port side of the cylinder and tiny scratches here and there..
A good shop will tell you if you need a bore or only a hone. Sounds like you may of had an air leak for that to happen or your jetting was lean.
