what could cause the bike to just cut out when running mid to WOT. it fire's back up fine after 10 seconds or so. the float needle kept sticking so i got a rebuild kit this is a stock carb with tors, idles fine. jets are clean ive cleaned the main like five times, the pilot is new, new gas and oil.. im stumped..
almost seems like it runs good till the bowl runs out then it dies.. wait a second for the bowl to fill and it fires up and rev fine.. the problem only seems to happen after running it WOT to mid range.. ive adjusted the float both for more gas and less in the bowl and no luck..

I think it may be the tors acting up, but you've probably already deleted that right??
If not check the little button that is between the throttle lever and the throttle box, might be sticking.

get yourself a banshee petcock(made to feed 2 carbs), and some 5/8 fuel line, leave a 1/2" of the stock size line on the carb, slip the new bigger stuff over it and clamp
flows like a mo-fo

it free flows from the petcock.. ive been around this site and these bikes for some time now and this has me stumped.. i agree with everyone the symptoms are that its running out of gas at WOT. ive adjusted the float 10 times by now.. can the bowl have too much gas? wouldnt it just come out the overflows then.. if i was sure its a carb issue id just buy a new carb but now im not so sure.

I see you have one of those stubby vent hoses. I have had problems in the past with the ball inside not working properly. Just another idea.

the petcock free flows.. i dumped all the gas in the tank through it cause i wanted to run fresh gas.. it free flowed till it was empty..
i gonna try my boys stock carb and see what happens.
