I have a 2000 Blaster I am going to get rid of because I need money. My question is, how much do you think I could get if I part it out? My upgrades are in my sig.

idk its a nice bike not many mods if i was u i would put all the factory stuff back on and sell the a/m stuff

I need more money than I would get for just the aftermarket parts.

Anyone know what I could get if I parted out the bike?

not really because its basically stock.

thats what i did. i sold all the A/M stuff and put the stock stuff back on and then listed it on n CL

honestly dude, im not trying to be mean or bash your bike, but more than likely the only thing that would sell is maybe the plastics, your bikes are mostly stock, so your best bet would be to put ALL your stock stuff back on the bike, sell the A/M here and out the stock bike on CL for like 800-1000$

that my opinion

u will just have to think of everything u have to part out put ur bottom dollar on it and add it up then there u go

If you do decide to sell anything, let me know, I might be interested in your airbox lid and your powercore silencer. Maybe we could trade my silencer plus some cash for it or something. Duchesne isnt CLOSE to me by any means, but I could make the drive out there maybe.

Im with the others though. I dont think you will make much off a partout either. You dont have anything special on there to make it worth much more than a stock one. Your bike in Utah, isnt worth a whole lot (Im thinking ~1000), but more than Id think you could get if you parted it out

Cause to part it out, someone actually has to want it. So theres things that will sell. You can prolly sell the reeds, the silencer, the bars, the kill switch, and the engine. Maybe someone would want the plastics. But most likely you will be hard pressed to sell much of anything else. You MIGHT get something from the frame if someones looking for one, but I dunno.

I think you should just put it on KSL here and see if you get any calls. List it a bit higher than you think you should, and see if someone will pay.

yup. this is a cruel cruel world. most people ar eswitching to 4 strokes so alot of guys wont pay top dollar for a blaster anymore. but if you decide to part it, ill take the plastics. i recently sold a blaster in pieces which i regret. it didnt have a title or anything and i got 150 for it all in pieces. kickin myself

That sucks bro. Only $150.

It all depends on how long you can hold out.

If you need money quick, then you most likely won't be getting top dollar for your parts.

A couple months ago I bought almost 2 blasters worth of parts for $400. The engine was all in pieces but mostly complete.

Last week I bought a parted out blaster for $300. There was no frame and the engine case is cracked at the gear shift lever.

The week before that when I was looking for a swingarm I was quoted $300 for one in good shape and $100 for one that was in a fire.

Pricing is all about supply and demand...
