Shock Question

What shocks (f & r) would be good for a 270 lb rider

i read the sticky but i didnt really see any info about a good shock for heavier riders

mm the stocks will hold a bigger rider but very stiff ride if u do alot of trail / some jumping . i have wp racing front shocks and they are fine for me and i am 226lbs. and they hold up to my friend he is 380lbs .. i didnt upgrade the back yet but prolly go with the trx450r rear ..

well banshee shocks are better than the stock, but if your willing to spend some money, get the yfz450 shocks. The only down side to having to spend a good amount on the yfz450 shocks is that you will also NEED to buy the diamond j widening kit for the yfz450 shocks to work.

if you dont get the yfz450s, like ron did, just go out and buy some aftermarket shocks for the blaster

yea .. if u have the cash go with the works shocks they are nice.. but if u don't have that much cash to spend go with the banshee shocks .. if u decide to get some u could always go to a dealer and take a seat on a shee and see how they are ..
