What shocks I was thinking about putting a 400ex rear shock on my blaster and my question is it that a good shock for a extended swingarm. Or if I decided to go with a Works shock is there a certain lenght on i have to get for an extended swing arm?

Now for the front I was thinking about puting YFZ450 shocks on what would I have to do to do that? would putting longer a-arms on make it mount right up or would I have to go with a diamond J kit? Or if I decied to put Works shocks in the front is there any difference in what I would need from stock a-arms to extended ones?

the shock length will be the same on an extended swingarm. When you put on extended a-arms or an extended swingarm, you should have the shocks set to your weight and riding style.

I have one more question what would i have to do to put YFZ450 front shocks on?
Thank for helping me out

You can run yfz fronts with extended a-arms. I had a set of yfz shocks on +2+1 burgards. You'll have to adjust the preload to get them to sit down a little. For the price of the yfz shocks, I'd just buy a set of used works or elka's though.

u could also get the shock conversion kit off ebay to get the yfz to fit, but like stroker said with the costs of all of that, look for some used works or elkas, and get them worked to your weight
