shock help

I am looking to buy some shocks off a 04 cat snopro. They are 18" from hole to hole. I am building a blaster right now and looking to get a +3 or +4 a-arm kit. My questing is are these shocks going to be to big. The kits do say at least 16" shocks

if you were to get long travel a arms they should be able to fit those but not saying anything definite

if it turns out that shocks are too long you could add in a lowering kit to bring the ride height back down
