shifting problems

ok sooo here it goes, sometimes when i shift from 1st to 2nd it wont go into 2nd and its not in neutral. so idk and sometimes it pops outta 6th into 5th. and sometimes when i pop the clutch to do a wheelie in first u can hear the tranny grind. bottom rebuild?

well, worst case it's the tranny cogs all ground up.
but most likely its just the shift forks being bent up from slamming the gears. both require splitting the cases.
could also be a bad shift drum or maybe you just need to adjust your shift lever.
also, check out your clutch, make sure you don't have too much free play in the cable and make sure you're running the right kinda tranny oil (needs to be made for wet clutches).
