Hey guys finally got time to get my cases together and I wanna if it's normal that you have to spin the sprocket backwards then forwards to engage a gear while holing secondary gear shaft

I'm not following the procedure you're describing ?
but it is very common to have to spin the sprocket to get it to shift while on the bench

I got the the cases together an while shifting I have to hold secondary gear shaft and turn sprocket forward and then it like clicks and goes into gear

If you are spinning either the clutch or sprocket in the normal direction it should shift. I often have to put a little drag (with my other hand ) while shifting. Presume you lubed everything during assembly?
If properly assembled you shouldn't have to "rock" the sprocket to get it to shift. If you do something isn't right.
