I just picked up another blaster for my kid the piston skirt fell off in the motor basically rebuilt the top end and the clutch basket was breaking it in and I believe the ball bearing for the shifter shaft to the clutch dog is missing, any way to tell if it is in there with out taking it all apart the kid that I got it from tried rebuilding the clutch basked himself and I am pretty sure he did not know what he was doing and lost the bearing lots of the gears were put on backwards and the adjustment goes in way to far for me to believe that the bearing is in there if the motor is tipped on its side would it just role on out, thanks for your help Mike.

If ya take all but the clutch housing (side with gear) off, then tip motor the ball bearing will fall out
Order one from yamaha or rob a ball out of a bearing. I used a ball out of a Go Ped wheel bearing when I lost mine, it was a perfect fit.
I just ordered one for mine too. Its a 3/16 ball, .43 cents from the dealer. After I oredered it, I found mine. Such luck.
